Oh dang! Another side-project from those
overly-talent Roots of Orchisers. This time it's
Aaron Morgan, shedding his other band's experimental
sounds for some absolutely beautiful co-ed folk.
Teaming up with the charming Carolyn Pennypacker
Riggs, The Finches are the soundtrack
to a Summer spent on porches, or if you need a
more direct description, they sound like the finest
moments of Cat Power and about a gazillion of
those nu-folk (freak folk?) bands.
Although they are totes better than all of them.
We
only have a couple of these in stock, so get them
now, or else your sad "where did that rad
Finches CD go?" emails will be ignored, or
possibly mocked.
I know, we're terrible, but remember, when we
make fun of you, it makes us feel better about
ourselves.
